I just got home from LV tonight and have to say it was so well worth the trip to Vegas to see this documentary. I had no expecatations going in but man let me tell you it was amazing!!! Just incredible behind the scenes footage, a lot of funny stuff, a lot of serious, sad stuff too (New Orleans and Soldier's Angel). You all must see it...it truly was profesionally done and just blew me away. I like the way Steve narrates it throughout...I'm so proud of her. The q & a went well even when a band started playing in the ballroom next door. Stevie and Dave didn't miss a beat (it wasn't that loud) and didn't lose their concentration. Dave made light of it in his English humor type of way.
The best part was the private meet and greet afterward. I attended that as well and they had a professional photographer taking pics of us with Stevie. Stevie's people are so nice and just really easy going. Cheers to Cheryl Lewis and Karen J. for making things flow so well. Oh btw, Waddy came along for the ride too!!!! Didn't say hi to him but he was so friendly to everyone. |
