FYI: Linda Ronstadt and Carly Simon are writing their memoirs.

It does boggle the mind, doesn't it? It has to be some sort of vanity pressing; I suspect people are not exactly clamoring for her story.

I am also interested in the enigma of Linda Ronstadt's private story... but I know so little about her life that I'm not so certain there will be anything particularly revelatory. By all appearances, she was the squeaky clean doe-eyed girl with a powerful set of lungs and a bucket list of musical genres to tackle. Oh, and she occasionally f***ed the governor of California. But that's about it...

But I am most interested in Carly's autobio. Yeah, she and JT were married and divorced, blah blah blah. I am most curious about the little anecdotes she *may* include about her storied childhood in the world of Simon and Schuster- all the incredible people she met, etc. She has also hinted at some torrid affairs with very important men (and women?) in the past... I suspect there will be at least one major bombshell in the book.
