Stevie's Net Worth

[bombaysaffires]

I don't have it here in front of me but on one of their recent cds (I'm thinking maybe the Rumours reissue and/or the White Album reissue) the listing of the owners of the publishing for Stevie's songs were all sorts of companies I'd never heard of before. Not the usual Welsh Witch Music admin by Sony ATV or whomever, with much of the Mac stuff copublished with whatever was the band's publishing unit. Songs like Rhiannon and several other of her biggest hits (written by her alone) had MULTIPLE publishers...none related to the band.

When I have time I will double check. I just remember being quite astonished by how many songs and the caliber of songs affected.

I think she hires top people but I really wonder how closely she monitors them herself. I bet Karen does...
