Nick Drake I listen to in the dark. I once went on a long walk in the dark with Nick Drake playing. There were neon lights everywhere, people rushing by living their lives and autumn in the air. I was in sheer bliss. You and I Part 1 I must listen to while on the bus in the dark. Gah...Alot of my music is dark time music, lol. I have different categories in my iPod for when to listen to music. "Rain Music, Sunshine, Having a Good Day, Getting my weepies out through music rather than crying, Meditation, Walking in the Woods etc". I love having moments where simply perfect music for it is playing. It just enhances every experience.

I have that habit too! I find it hard to listen to Rumours in the wintertime...or most California rock, for that matter. I mean, obviously, it can't be avoided for the entire winter, but it's so much better when the sun is out, at least. And Van Morrison is best in the fall- especially Astral Weeks and No Guru, No Method, No Teacher.
