LA show - Lindsey was fantastic, Stevie was not

On the Dance tour he was more subdued, but he was just as outstanding with his playing. He doesn't need to have Stevie "let" him take the limelight.

As for how long the tour will last, there's no way they're going to keep this up another 18 months. This thing will get wrapped up by February, regardless of what they are saying now. Keep an eye on the economy.

I, too, think LB is fantastic whether SN is in the room or not.

When I have referred to SN taking the limelight in the past, I was talking about audience reaction in general. For example, I think the point is that SN, and LB for that matter, knows that if she danced and twirled during his solos, the light would be taken from him and put on her. Right or wrong, the vast makority of the audience loves to watch her. For example, at the three concerts I went to, whenever Stevie twirled and danced, the crowd went nuts and I meand nuts. They also went nuts for LB during the solos, but not quite like they did for SN. In fact some people sat down and/or left during them; that did not happen when La Nicks was "a twirlin" Rather, the crowd usually lept to their feet if they were not already standing and cheered loudly. So, I think in that context, she does not want to upstage LB with her "antics" so to speak. Her seductive movements would not take away at all from his superb playing, they would just take the focus of the majority of the crowd from him and put it on her.
