Oh Daddy vs. Oh Diane

Oh Daddy by far. It's one of my fav Christine tunes. I think it's dark, mystical, and epically beautiful.

On the other hand, I think Oh Diane is a bad joke. To me, most of Lindsey's Mirage tunes are simply vehicles for thumbing his nose at the band & record label's negative reaction to his Tusk experiments. Since Lindsey's Tusk songs were too radical for everyone's tastes, he recorded a bunch of songs in the least inoffensive genre possible: 50s pop. I just find most of Lindsey's Mirage tunes (Oh Diane included) to be highly disingenuous.
