I agree. And, I too wish that Stevie & her record company would team together & release her more polished piano & vocal demo's AND solo song outtakes as a rarity to fans -
The Best of Stevie Nicks: The Bootlegs & Unreleased Songs -
A compete songwriting compilation/retrospective. Focusing on her unique song creation style and featuring all the unreleased gems/bootlegs/demos not in official release from 1972"-1999-ish.
Imagine all the stuff we haven't heard! If quality songs like "Reconsider Me" were in the vault - a song nobody heard & had not been in circulation. There
must be tons more where that came from!?! I imagine as far as the outtakes from her solo records, it might be a small legal hurdle, but It could still be done. The question is whether or not she owns the original masters to these outtakes, and I'm guessing NOT. Most artists do not own their own masters, the record co. does

. It was part of most band contracts, and very few, other than Michael Jackson, Prince, and a small minority of other artists actually staked claim on their master recordings in their record contracts.
"Enchanted" was appropriate at the time, considering "they" were trying to capitalize on "The Dance" success & momentum & introduce or reintroduce Stevie's best solo works up to that date, not only to her new younger fans, but also sprinkle some rare crumbs to the hardcore fans. I personally loved having
most of the B-Sides & all the Soundtrack songs up to that point in one place. And perhaps she left out "Mirror, Mirror" because there was a small chance that she would still re-record that one, But "Real Tears" would have been a great addition. Otherwise it was a pretty great box set imo. But still Stevie need another set that is focused on bootlegs & outtakes. The timing to do it is now, or in the next few years, in the winter of Stevie's career, marketed as a rare songwriting retrospective. All the great 60's & 70's prolific & respected male songwriters have done this (Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Tom Petty, etc.) It's time for Stevie to be acknowledged in the same format! She was esp. prolific as a songwriter from 72" through 1985" and then again from 1995-1999.
This needs to happen. Because I'm beginning to doubt we'll ever get expended re-releases of her solo catalog & She'll never have the time to record all these wonderful un-released songs & demos. There is simply too much material!! And some of it she cannot do justice to with her current voice. Having said that, Dave Stewart & her did a terrific job with LFTM into Moonlight...so there still could be hope for a few (a handful at best of these to still be released, but still....these songs need to be heard. And whoever said "Night Gallery" would be a great title for this. I completely agree!!!
