Friday I'm in Love, The Cure
Best alternative song ever! My favorite band of all time is The Cure! My dad actually introduced me to The Cure and I fell in in love with them. To me, Friday I'm in Love is the kind of song that will never get old. I've been listening to this band since I was 11 years old.

It Ain't Me Babe, Johnny Cash and June Carter
Recently, I've been listening to older songs from the 60s and the 70s. This song is in my favorite movie, Walk the Line. It has a really cool beat and I love the combination of guitar, harmonica, and lyrics..

Dream On, Aerosmith
There' s not much to say about this song, its a classic! I'm learning to play this song on my guitar. It was hard to pick a song from Aerosmith, I love all of them!

Red Rover, Fleetwood Mac
This song is a really cool song. The beat changes and it's got a really cool sound. The first time I heard it, I was with my guitar teacher, Jon, watching SNL and Lindsey Buckingham was a guest. Lindsey started playing and I was blown away, he was awesome! I didn't know who he was, so Jon showed me some songs, and I was instantly hooked.

Black Dog, Led Zeppelin
This is another great classic. I learned how to play this on my guitar not that long ago. This song is unlike any song I have ever heard. It has the weirdest tempo that changes throughout the song. Led Zeppelin rocks!

Love You Like a Love Song, Selena Gomez
I'd have to say that I don't like a lot of modern pop songs. I like this song because its simple, but cool. This is also a song that my mom will just start randomly singing, its pretty funny.

Weird Science, Oingo Boingo
So, a lot of the songs I picked are from the 80s. Maybe it's because I wish I lived in the 80s. My parents showed me the movie Weird Science and I loved it! Oingo Boingo is a weird band with a very interesting sound.

O' Sailor,Fiona Apple
This is a beautiful song. I love singing it any time of day or night! Her voice has a deep, effortless tone that sounds great through headphones.

Rental Car, Beck
This has so many different elements to it but my favorite is the acapella voices in the middle of the song. Great mix of techno, hard rock and 60's pop.

Hey Jude, The Beatles
Do I need an explanation? This song just makes me happy. Every time it plays on the radio in the car, my whole family sings along…ah, good times.
Last Man Standing airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
