Destiny Rules
WHEW this place is gettin' me down lately, let's get back to the music for a little while...
I think this song REALLY hits its stride when done live for some reason! When I heard it on the album I thought it ws only OK. But these live versions are cool! Is it a little faster? There's a darkness in it that I just don't get on the album. Of course I could do without the backup singers (a bit more Lindsey, please!), but I'm diggin' Lindsey's jangling cowboy guitar on the live version, seems stronger somehow...makes me picture Stevie in a leather duster ridin' her horse alone on a dusty, windblown trail. Thoughts?
