Gypsy 83 movie:- Can you help?

[blackdove]

I remember reading about a Stevie inspired movie a few years ago called Gypsy 83. If I remember correctly it was a road movie style thing with the lead actress searching out her mother or parents (can't remember exactly). I think it was played at a film festival, but I don't know how much it was shown after that. Does anyone know much about this? I'm quite curious and would love to see it...I mean all those Stevie inspired clothes and her music in a film would be so cool IMO

Hope you knowledgable Ledgies can help a relative newbie from the UK
