Barky Dog Problems

[ButterCookie]

Seriously guys. HALP!

Max won't stfu. Every tiny noise and he's off. No matter what I say or do, he refuses to stop barking. I've tried those air horns designed to distract dogs momentarily, removing him from the room, shouting (in frustration) everything I can think of. It's annoying me and no doubt it's annoying our neighbors.

He's sleeping in my room at the moment because we have guests staying in the front room and I've been woken up multiple times during the past few nights. I'm at the end of my tether.
