What wasn’t to enjoy? It’s not like Stevie was at her best during everything leading up to that era. Bekka brought energy to the shows, and she and Billy sounded amazing together. Their chemistry was every bit as pure as anything Fleetwood Mac ever had. I also really liked how Billy’s rhythm playing meshed in with Mick and John. Looking back, I’d rather they had focused on new material (which I’d be saying now if LB hadn’t gotten booted, BTW) and have gotten Mick Taylor (who I could get how he’d fit in with the band) on lead guitar. (Oh okay, I just wanted to hear Bekka and Billy rock “Gimme Shelter”, and Mick Taylor in the band would have given it credibility…)
