Oh-oh. Lindsey would have to stop throwing guitars if there was no one to fix them.

That wouldn't surprise me one damn bit.

Should it not be, in theory, c'd's? The apostrophe is not possessive but to indicate an abbreviation. Thus, the apostrophe is to replace the missing letters "isc"?

I suspect the apostrophe will go the same way as the hyphen. I've read that they are already taking the apostrophe out of place names in the UK.

Furthermore, why is CD capitalised? We don't write "Today I purchased a Compact Disc" rather than "Today I purchased a compact disc".

Oh and on topic, hopefully this cd from Lindsey will better than the two that came before it.

None of the above, its just that Lindsey has no official endorsment with Rick Turner. The Model 1 although only really used by Lindsey is by no means his official signature guitar. He doesnt have to advertise or promote it.
Lindsey does however appear with his Model 1 on the cover of Live DVD's and stuff like that.
This is the first solo studio album cover that lindsey has chosen to have a guitar on it, normally its just a big pciture of his face.

The guitar by Jason Shroeder was made for his 60th birthday. How cool. The head plate reads "For Lindsey Buckingham 10-3-09." Nice gift! Who from, I wonder?

When Lindsey did that radio show at the start of the GOS promotion, I think Ray was with him. But I guess that was only temporary.

Default short twitter review

first review that i've seen popped up on twitter today (by Sound + Vision Editor-In-Chief, http://soundandvisionmag.com):

@MikeMettler
First listen thru Lindsey Buckingham's upcoming Seeds We Sow. A master of songwriting, guitar playing, and innovative sonic clarity at work.

sounds promising...

I wouldn't have minded if it wasn't pristine (UTS and bits of GOS weren't) but I'm glad to hear this. I like that it's not just "sonic clarity" it's innovative. I'm not sure what that even means but it makes me happy.

I'd already assumed the songwriting and guitar playing would be top notch anyway

I agree. This is making me happy too. The only thing is, if a soundspecialist talks about sonic clarity I always read: No Bass. Let's hope that's not the case. As for Innovative: I couldn't be happier.....

That's interesting about the term "sonic clarity." I didn't know that. But then when I hear Process of Illumination, I do think it's a little muddy because of the bass, so that makes sense. And I don't judge the song based just on the imperfect Youtube audio. I thought that about it live too.

Thinking of bass, I did have a fear that SWS would be too much like UTS from an early description. But not now that we've heard the bulk of the songs and there's at least one rocker that we haven't heard. Of course, the studio arrangements will be different, I know, and I look forward to that.
