She was the Queen of Rock in 1981. There have been many queens, prior to and since then.

It's an OK song but I really cannot see it pulling people in on the radio. It is boring at first listen, especially to non-fans, who may be put off by the basso profundo vocals, lack of a melodic hook, and the sleepy arrangement.

Agree completely......none of these three would be a better choice for a single...."Ghosts" might work at AAA, but "Worth" has much wider across the board appeal, charting on a number of formats. Smart move!

Now....I want to know....who's the song about?!? I vote Petty!

I agree with that statement. Yes, Stevie has proved that she can rock in her sixties. However, rock stars at her age tend to walk the edge of parody, attempting to exact the same image and energy they had in their twenties.

Some artists know the art of aging gracefully, and accordingly adjust the nuance of their approach. Country has always been in Stevie's blood, as well as in her music. By leaning more towards that, she can relieve herself of the expectation to act like a youthful rocker - and give up feeling the need to do the high kicks, the spins, etc... She can still rock with country rock!

Even if I didn't leave my girlfriend, those are my thoughts, for what they're worth.

Anyone else think it's odd that Itlalian Summer isn't the 2nd single? It's the middle of June and the time frame is strange. I know they want this to be a single but when are they going to release this—the dead of winter. It's bizarre to me.

..she couldn't do it anyway...

and others say.. she's not really real.. like a candle...

you know, my dad died last September and so this is the Father's Day, the first one, that is gonna be tough.. been ok until I went to Target this morning, and saw all the folks looking at the Father Day cards.. and reminded me that I don't have to buy a card.. or make a phone call. but I had my iphone and as I felt the tears, "moonlight' started playing and I knew.. even then..

I love "For What It's Worth"... whether it is a hit or not depends on radio and getting airplay.. and people liking the song.. I love it.. it's simple, it's beautiful, it's Stevie..

"i look at you. and i start to cry...."

Secret Love was released as a single months ago, why are you only just being amazed by that?

"this is sabotage to the selling of the album" And why would anyone want to sabotage it?

I don't have any idea whether the song will do well or not....we can all only speculate on that. But you have to get your facts straight first (about "Secret Love" and IYD chart performance) before making assertions based on totally erroneous assumptions.

I'm thinking end of Aug or Sept. Then if WB is smart, they'd be pulling strings to get Moonlight on Breaking Dawn which comes out in Nov.

He's a drug and alchohol interventionist, and used to be the drummer for Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
