It would be great if they would release a full video retrospective of Kate Bush on dvd. A friend of mine used to give annual music video presentations at Lincoln Center in NYC and he ended one of the presentations (of contemporary clips) with Kate Bush's staggering Love & Anger video.
Here is a piece I wrote on the video: http://johndemetry.blogspot.com/2007...of-bushes.html

It's just a rumor so far (albeit one reported by the head of EMI Australia), but that new album that is to follow Director's Cut? It will supposedly appear in November!!! November, 2011!!!
![]() It seems like a stretch, but maybe not... Kate joked in 2005 that she'd shock us all by putting out two albums within a year (she said this twice)...and she spoke of the new album quite freely in her recent 2011 interviews (something she's never done for work that is not already completed). She was also recording "someone else's" vocals for the album, as she told one recent interviewer, and that would surely be one of the last things she'd do before completing recording altogether. Director's Cut appeared in May (another possible clue, as she's been a November-release-only girl for 25 years). DC always seemed like a vanity project or a stop-gap album, and she's also said it had been completed for some time... Fingers crossed. |
