If she wanted to make music, she'd make music.
She has this...irritating way...sometimes, about her career. On the one hand, she's the poet. The female Bob Dylan. So many thousands of poems, songs, etc. But, for someone who has all of this, she's actually shared very little. Because of "mismanagement," "piracy," "people stealing from her." You can't have it both ways. She DOES have enough money (those 1000 fans who steal from her have made it possible to live off what she has and leave behind enough for relatives, by going to, essentially, the same show, for the last decade). Anyway, you'd think she would worry more about a musical legacy. About sharing her gift. About being the 'artist.' And not about the biz. Plus, if she's worried about TPTB--get rid of them. Why continue to surround yourself by people who are stifling your creativity unless that's what you want (along with convenient scapegoats to take all the blame)? Irritating. But, the past is past and let's see what she does in the immediate future. I'm waiting for that tour to be announced, Stevie. Any day now. And I want new stuff. NO one wants the stolen oldies I seem to be peddling. (geez...can you imagine, standing on a streetcorner, with bootleg copies of 9000 versions of Stand Back in your raincoat? People would be shooing you away like a giant gnat.) Last edited by Regina; 06-03-2011 at 07:42 AM.. |

I'm gonna put all the blame for Stevie not doing an album solely on Liz Rosenberg. She's useless!
Have you noticed how often Stevie mentions that her management call her up to suggest touring? Liz suggested the this-is-not-a-tour tour last august, And the Heart and Soul tour. And it always seems as if she saying " if you do this tour, then it will be like you worked for a year and put some money in the bank" ![]() Really? I hardly think Liz is concerned about Stevie's financial situation which I'm sure is fine. Liz just wants to line her own pockets by milking the Stevie touring cow... And she's near milked her dry this past decade... end of rant ![]()

Liz Rosenberg doesn't give Stevie enough confidence as a publists when releasing a new cd Liz works for the artist and record label to promote her artist to make money and again an album that did very well for not getting that much promotion on Liz's part anyway Dave Stewart on the other hand got the ball rolling for Stevie on the twitter accounts and tube posting videos too and audio clips of songs too so It's an excellent album wish it would get promoted like it should have.
