wouldnt you say these set lists would drive people from the building? i dont think your average casino junkie would be familiar with the majority of this material. these would be great lists for intimate small venue superfan shows but every day people paying $$$ to see stevie nicks or fleetwood mac want to hear massive HITS prettymuch throughout the set.

Guys we are being super-unrealistic why would she possibly perform anything from her new album which has been getting great reviews been promoted on tons of talkshows and contains around ten songs that are easily within the comfortable range she sings in at every show???

That is silly talk

Ooooo snarky.

sometimes I wonder...do people really believe that stevie blows musicial notes from her buttcheeks? music on an album takes hours upon hours, weeks upon weeks, months upon months to perfect.

In order for these songs to be performed they need to be learned and then rehearsed to semi perfection. That would include the vocalist and all members of the band. This will not be happening anytime soon, IMO. Secret Love is the single and the LIVE promotion for IYD.

You're right about some of the songs. Wide Sargasso Sea, Italian Summer, Moonlight would probably take an age, but there are some very simple songs on the album instrumentally and vocally that would be no problem. And surely they would have rehearsed something for the launch show/party if they were actually intending to do songs from it live, so I don't see what's up...

One can have a launch party without actually performing multiple songs from an album -- it just so happens to be the concert that falls on the date the album launches -- and there is always Secret Love. Let us not forget the Listening Party in which songs were played directly from the studio album.

At this point there is NO excuse for doing covers. I don't care how much you love Tom Petty, Stevie. You're a songwriter, sing your songs.

Unless she added at least 4 new songs to the set, I'd skip seeing her again. As for Fleetwood Mac, I'd love to hear a new studio CD with Christine, but I've seen them enough live to be satisfied.

I've already made my peace with this. In the old days it would kill me to skip a tour. I'm through begging & waiting & spending all my $ just to see her schlep out the same stuff I saw last time around. I won't even complain that she skipped all of TX in 2011 if it's going to be the same old set anyway.

I'm really confused over people's concearns and dissapointments over the set list. I mean the set lists from the past 2 nights are absolutely infuriating for sure, but "Under normal circumstances" that is. I feel like you all are having extreme short term memory loss. Stevie has been VERY sick and is still somewhat sick. The only valid criticism anyone should have is that she decided to play at all in less that top form. But I guess she was just sick of cancelling.

Shes playing only 11 songs and is the only performer. Thats clearly WAY less then she would normally perform. You people are acting like she has no desire to play any In Your Dreams songs in her set. She hasn't had time to rehearse on the count of the pneumonia, so she basically just copied and pasted her opening act set.

Again I'm not saying people shouldnt be upset with this set list. It's an absolute abomination considering it's 2 weeks after her greatest album ever being released, but you really need to look at the whole overall context of the situation. Saying I'm hanging up my Stevie concert hat based on the past 2 shows is crazy.

Well, since the album has been completed since December, I don't buy the whole "no time to practice" bull. January-beginning of March is ample amount of time, don't you think? I am sure is going to perform new songs on upcoming shows, but it's just her whole attitude towards the situation is bothering me. From the interviews, I feel like she is slapping us fans in the face with her comments on touring and album sells. It's disappointing.

I'm saying it based on several tours' worth of mostly the same stuff. My short term memory is fine, thanks.
