Lost FM Album '82-'87

During the 5 year gap from Mirage to Tango I think the Mac could of put out another album, or 2 easily.

I was just thinking what a potential FM album would look like say if they released one '85ish. If you take the 3 solo albums from the three writers..."Go Insane," Chris's album and "Rock A Little" you could have an instant FM record. That is how TITN and SYW basically came out; as Lindsey solo LP's really.

Just for fun, lets say out of 12 songs, which would you include from the albums above as one album?

Unfortunatley there is a lot of New Wave 80s sounds throughout Stevie + Lindsey's songs. I think that Got A Hold On Me could of been a great single - Lindsey's already on it. This song could easily be turned into a classic FM tune.

No Christine?

If I remember correctly, there were reports that "FM sessions" had been booked for '84 but as they never materialized that was that. They may have been "changed" to being "CM sessions" for CM's 1984 solo album, who knows though, but yeah, a FM album in '84 may have kept the momentum going frorm "Mirage" rather than TITN being thought of as "another dinosaur reforming" as it seemed to be in 1987.

Only three? Maybe Chris needs one more. So I'll substitute "The Smile I Live For" for "Running Through the Garden." That gives Chris four tracks, Stevie four tracks & Lindsey four tracks. Poifect!
