As a former performer myself(but not at NOTS) I can tell you that it takes about a month to rehearse for these performances. The new album's only been out for 2 weeks. Secret Love is too short. The goal is to pick a longer song so you can have more stage time. They'll probably have new songs performed next year.

She IS really funny, and mostly keeps a straight face when she is clowning, but I bet she lost it when she said she is responsible for reintroducing the ball gowns--there IS an edit there.

Singlehandedly. Actually, it would be funny if we started seeing those on the street, in place of the gypsy dresses, the tuxedo jackets and top hats . . . if we start seeing Victorian skirts and bodices at concerts that would be rather cool.
