What kind of equipment or device did you first play this glorious beautiful music on? Any other details? We played it on a Samsung Blu-Ray with Surround Sound. The volume was set on 20 and it was set on Stereo mode. I was sipping on my second round of Bacardi and fruit juice ( to get through that awful at times Glee performance). LauraTN was lying on the couch playing Holly(an other Ledgie from back in the day) a word game on the IPad . We listened. We were very pleased.

Nice!
I used to have these cherry JBL's that sounded really good. Kinda like these: Sadly I don't have any speakers anymore other than the ones hooked up the iMac. One of these days I'll get 'round to getting a new hifi. ![]()

Equipment and Devices for the new album? Right here:
![]() Pristine sound system in there. Perfect climate control . . . and Stevie Nicks. |

Pioneer CD player
Kenwood amplifier (at least 30 years old, still works!) Giant Jensen speakers I had it cranked loud! I haven't played it through the surround sound system yet, that will be next. P.S. Glad I'm not the only audio snob around here. I wouldn't drink fine champagne out of a dirty sneaker, and I refuse to have my first listen of any new Stevie, FM or Butch Walker album through crappy speakers. ![]() Last edited by Livia; 05-05-2011 at 08:26 PM.. |

I have a Kenwood system about that old.It has a turntable and a 6 CD changer. I have yet to play IYD on it. I am hoping it comes out on vinyl , but at 64 minutes I am doubtful about that.

CD on Sony changer
Marantz receiver (2245, incredibly warm) Venturi Speakers (HIGHLY recommended when paired with a good receiver... check out the reviews on Amazon. I didn't believe it until I bought the towers and they sounds better than speakers that cost 5-6 times as much) The song "In Your Dreams" is absolutely thunderous; so much going on. The sparse stuff (For What It's Worth, Soldier's Angel, etc.) sounds impossibly crisp. It might not be saying much given the sketchy audio quality of her past releases, but this is by far the best mastered of her albums, in my opinion. It sounds incredible. |

Sadly, on my work computer (streaming the RS link). I wasn't as impressed as when I got home and listened to it again and again on my husband's brilliantly hooked-up stereo system and speakers. That's when I fell in love.

I first played the cd on my computer tuesday night. It sounded good through the midgrade speakers. My good systen is still packed away.I was going to play the crap out of it in my Subaru today when I was going to travel to Atlantic City today.Instead I had to settle playing the mp3 version through my old Sanyo boombox at work today.
