Oh Man...what an amazing interview! thank you for posting. Its nice to hear her being honest about not wanting to record another album and now that has all changed...

Yeah, and Dave keeps reminding Stevie that they have more poems to turn into songs... so there you go.

He can take on Space Needle next as far as I'm concerned. Imagine the haunting beauty we'd get out of that.

One of the best Stevie interview I've ever read! This is why I love this woman!

[SapphireSister]

Alright I've caved...

She loves him still

[DashingDan]

She references Coco Chanel and Man Ray...damn I love this koo-koo woman.

While the story is sad, I can't tell you how relieved I am to know that Stevie did not dedicate an album to an aborted child.

I love this place Stevie has been coming from lately. I feel like she finally feels free enough to open up and be more real. Some have been making fun of how she changes her story about her "greatest love" but I totally get it. Time gives one perspective, and things look a whole lot different at 63 than they did at 40 or 50.

I am so looking forward to receiving my CD and listening to it on a good system.

Great interview!

And there's a picture of Sara in the booklet, with a personal dedication. It's sweet.

Yes! I thought that would have been a bit too bizarre, and really not at all something Stevie would have done. Would she really have wanted to open that can of worms for more tabloid fodder?

But...isn't it an odd coincidence that this girl was named Sara?

My first thought was that she was named after the song, given that Stevie says what a fan of hers the girl was. Perhaps she got her music taste from her parents.

First post, by the way. Hi everyone!

That's my suspicion as well.
