Out of all those fabulous songs, why on EARTH Secret Love and Cheaper Than Free are the only singles, I have no idea... that makes absolutely no sense.

Well, I ripped the plastic cover instantly and later I also wanted to look at the sticker, So I unfolded it and it says SL & CtF indeed.

"In Your Dreams" should be single #2

Yep, my sticker also stated "Secret Love" and "Cheaper Than Free" as the singles.

Has it occurred to you people that it might list "Secret Love" and "Cheaper Than Free" because the first one is the current single and the second one recently had a video released of it? Those have been the most visible songs so far so they're what are listed on the cd sticker in the hopes that people might recognize the title.

I doubt that this means that there will be no further single releases. Stickers on albums change as further songs are released. WB is probably gauging radio reaction. I don't think it's anything to get all upset over unless a rep from WB says that "yes indeed just those two songs are the singles".

I can't wait to get my hands on the Liner notes.

For some reason I was expecting LB to be credited on Soldier's Angel, but then I thought about it... and I don't really know why I thought he would have been haha.

Yes exactly. The sticker in no way is implying that CTF is the next single.

Now, if it had said "Featuring the singles SL and CTF", then that would indicate that it would be the next single, but it does not say that.

When "Rock A Little" came out, "Sister Honey" was listed on the sticker and it never became a single. Same with TISL when "I Miss You" was on the sticker. Of course CTF does have a video already.

I'm thinking the video was released as cross-promotion for Dave's album. His is released on June 28th, and honestly, his best means of promotion at this point is Stevie herself.

I agree....it doesn't feel like the genuine Stevie because this is the first time she collaborated. In my humble Stevie opinion: As a long time fan since the inception of Stevie & Lindsey in Fleetwood Mac to her solo career it's a hard transition from only her writing songs to now co-writing. But wait....didn't she co-write in the 80's w/ a Sandy Stewart? Or am I hallunicating from waiting for my CD in the mail?

I'm not saying I like those songs less but the ones only she wrote will always be a little more special to me.

I don't understand all this criticism of Stevie co-writing - it's not as if she's a co-composer of the Britney variety ie suggesting a title here and there...
What people should realise is that this is the first album not to contain any covers or songs written by others ie Stevie has had a hand in writing every single one of these songs.

Right and after hearing the quality of the album, she is obviously better off sharing her poems and her ideas with another writer.

I think you may be right about no decision being made yet, but I'm all for people making a stink on here about it anyway. TPTB need to hear loud & clear that CTF is not the right way to go.
