Wow! So It really exists!
I want to go there!!!

IMHO Danny really blossomed as a writer after Greeny had left the band. I much prefer his songs from late '70 until 1972 to the Then Play On era.

It's well worth the trip! It's a really nice, quiet area and lovely to walk around if the weather's nice. Benifolds is quite hard to see properly, as it involves walking up the private drive and hoping the dogs don't get you But the pub is much more straightforward, providing it's open - depends on the time of day, I guess.

My Top 10--No Particular Order

Trinity (the best Mac song that never made it to record)

Woman of a Thousand Years

Sometimes

Dust

Tell Me All the Things You Do

Like it This Way

Only You (BBC version)

Dragonfly

Station Man

Silver Streams

[SteveMacD]

Hard question, but here goes:

Ram Jam City
Angel's Delight (appeals to my inner Glen Campbell fan)
Trinity
Only You
Woman of 1000 tears
Dust
Station Man
Something Inside of Me
Sunny Side of Heaven
Dragonfly

[GJK]

I've known most of these songs about 25 years now and I've come up with these:

The purple dancer

Ons sided love
Something inside of me

Sometimes
Only you
Sands of time
Trinity
Jigsaw puzzle blues

Like crying
Like it this way

GJK

[FuzzyPlum]

Not sure why Trinity popped up on YouTube for me quite out of the blue….but it reminds me of how much I love this song. Had to go on a Danny Kirwan binge.

No order…

Trinity
The Purple Dancer
Jewel Eyed Judy
Only You
Sunny Side of Heaven
Woman of a Thousand Years
Like it This Way
Down at the Crown
Sometimes
Child of Mine

Bonus: Dust

Well well well, hi!
Didn't know this thread exists! Thanks to everybody that revived it!
I truly love Danny's songs and I think his work is a very big part in the history of the band, but as a solo artist, he also had some good tunes!
