Default Britney Spears-Femme Fatale out today!

12 years ago I watched the video for Baby One More Time, and fell in love. I have always looked at Britney as an older sister of mine, one I have watched as I've gotten older and looked up to, learned from. I am incredibly proud of her, and despite all the people that hold her up to an unreachable standard, she is still making music. This will be her hardest album to pull off though, considering Gaga's revolution of pop. And even though the album was leaked not too long ago, I haven't listened to the tracks. I've heard 5 songs so far, but only once or twice each. This will be the perfect album to keep me patient for May 3rd, is anyone else a fan or excited?

It's a catch22 for me about Britney. I love alot of her songs, hell, I have some of her albums & I felt bad for her when she went thru all that stuff a few years ago.

On the other hand, I really don't know why she needs to look skanky or sing skanky stuff. It's time to grow up, we don't need to know that you want to take a vaction on someones Disco Stick!

I absolutely love Britney, and I'll be picking up the album on my way home today! I grew up listening to her music and will always be a fan of her as a performer. From what I've heard of the album, it's very promising and I hope that it is a success for her.

So glad that she's bounced back from the troubles she had a few years ago.

I'm not exactly, or at all, a fan of her music but I did think she was a real hotty before she had babes. She hasn't quiet got back the shape she once had...yep, that's coming from a mostly hetero female (me) who's had babes of her own and knows how hard losing weight is...I'm just saying. I'll listen to the album for free on AOL and give it some consideration.

I love Britney's new album. The laptop that does her singing gets better with each album

No, seriously though, I love it. Some really catchy songs, and they feel less "safe" than the songs on Circus did. I think Femme Fatale is the followup to Blackout that Circus should have been.

Gasoline, (Drop Dead) Beautiful and Trouble For Me stand out as my favourites.

You quickly have become one of my favorite ledgies. hahaha.
I was telling Anthony that Gasoline is my absolute favorite track off the album, followed by Trouble for Me, too

They went TOO safe with the singles, I think. HIAM and Till The World Ends are okay, but there's sooo much better on the album.

Without a doubt, I definitely see Gasoline being a single.
I don't think I know you're name. I'm Chris

I am honestly blown away with this album. In my opinion, it is easily her best yet. Almost every song is a favorite already, but my top 3 are (Drop Dead) Beautiful, Trip To Your Heart, and Gasoline.

Anyone know how the album did on it's first day?

I really am liking this cd the more I listen to it. I like the bonus itunes tracks too. I think Selfish is really good as well as Inside Out, Till the World Ends, and Gasoline.
Hits Daily Double usually releases the first day sales so they should have the info shortly.

I hope so. I'm not a huge Brit Brit fan, but I loved Blackout.

Britney will debut at #1 next week. They are projecting 275-300k sales.

Britney’s back… and on top of the HITS’ Album chart for next week, as her new Jive/JLG album, Femme Fatale looks set to score sales in the 275-300k range.
The album has actually been well-received by some critics, earning a four-star review in Rolling Stone, while last night, she performed on Jimmy Kimmel and appeared in footage shot for Jackass 3 in which she was bungied while inside a porta-potty.

That gives RCA/Jive the #1 spot for the second week in a row. This week, the label held four out of the Top Five spots on the HITS Album sales chart.

The week’s real surprise is Atlantic hip-hop artist Wiz Khalifa’s Rolling Papers, which is on target for sales between 190-215k, coming off the smash single, “Black and Yellow,” now closing in on three million downloads, and the latest hit, “Roll Up,” closing in on 330k. He performed last night before 3,000 fans at a sold-out Roseland Ballroom in New York. As part of iTunes’ “Countdown to Rolling Papers” promotion, the rapper released the Benny Blanco-produced “No Sleep,” which shot to the top of the overall singles chart a day after it was released on the digital retail site.

The physical version of Radiohead’s The King of Limbs hit stores this week, on the band’s own TBD label through RED, with estimates in the 50-60k range, with the previous digital sales on their website not included.

Priority/Capitol/EMI’s Snoop Dogg album, Doggumentary, will bow with between 45-50k, while Columbia Grammy-winning gospel group Mary Mary’s Something Big will do in the 35-40k range.

The market was up 13% vs. last week, up 7% vs. same week last year and now down 5% year to date, marking the sixth consecutive week that album sales have beat the corresponding week last year. So crack open the bubbly and let’s settle on the correct spelling of Khadafy, Qadafi, Gaddafi or whatever his name is once and for all.
