In my devastation...

Ha ha, it's o.k. I was just shocked there was a demo out there I had never heard of. Didn't like it much anyway.

Thanks for the heads up Mike!

Was just listening to that demo ~ LOVE how Stevie sings at the beginning:

"Ooh, my love...
Hey hey, baby...
Ooh, my love...
Hey hey. baby!"

Edit: The demo is fantastic, but the Sound quality on mine is terrible ~ if anyone has better...

Would you post it for me anyway? I suspect my copy is on a long dead har drive somewhere.

That song makes my hair stand on end.

Do I Bring You Down is a great song to me. And IDGAF what anybody says, to me it is Stevie singing and always will be.

mikebise · #**1343** 03-13-2011, 11:26 AM

Viv, I actually feel the same way you do about "Do I Bring You Down?". I was really hurt when the hoax~sters laughed at me and told me I fell for their ruse ~ exactly as they planned!

I like the song and the lyrics, and it still sounds like Stevie to me, even if it's not.

Great Demo! Thanks 4 posting, don't think I ever had this one. Has anyone ever noticed that this demo and Welcome To the Room..Sara demo sound familiar?

Stevie sounds great on this. They really really should have released "Ooh My Love" as the 2nd single from OSOTM. This song is so infectious and catchy. Major pissed opportunity.

I think that demo of "Ooh My Love" is just fantastic ~ Stevie is ON FIRE!!!!! All kinds of cool differences than with the final album version... Stevie's voice is just incredible here!

Maybe we'll find an upgrade!

And I want to thank Brian for that The Other Side Of The Mirror concert ~ I never even heard of that one!!!!!!! Fantastic!!! I bought the Westwood One records of the Houston Concert from WynnCo in Early 1990, and always wished I had a perfect 1989 "How Still My Love"... and now I do! And "Juliet" and "Talk To Me" as bonuses!!!! Way to go!!!

BTW, Brian, go listen to the 1998 "Gold And Braid" I posted and let us know what concert it's from!!!

WOW!!! thank you estranged4life.. i've waited forever to have a soundboard from 89 of How Still My Love.
that's my favorite tour for that particular song.
I am bummed about a lot of the rest of the show tho... i'd almost swear she's drunk on top of the klonopin.... just about every other song she's either off a beat or slurring her words and i won't even get into all the lyrics she messes up...

but the How Still my Love was Perfection!!!
again THANK YOU!
