She won TWO Grammys for Rumours tho. One as an artist and one as a producer. Granted it isn't two different categories, but technically she did win two Grammys, so that is why so many people refer to her as such.

As with anything else: There are lies. There are statistics. There is the truth. I suspect they are taking into account every single that ever climbed any chart in the U.S., which means some singles would be counted twice, i.e., Hot 100 and Top Rock Tracks. But there is definitely an extra "0" tacked onto the "14" in terms of the number of albums sold. There is simply no frackin' way.

I think u are right. But Stevie has too toot her own horn right now. It's sell yourself time!!! And she is good at it. She hasn't had a true top 40 since 1989 and she''s managed to reach legendary status. She's a good salesperson.

I think what they're actually doing is tallying up her solo figures as well as Fleetwood Mac's figures. Because if you combine Stevie's Top 40 charting US singles with Fleetwood Mac's, you get roughly 40. Also, if you combine Stevie's album sales with Fleetwood Mac's (worldwide), it'd be over 100 million for sure. That's how they arrived at those numbers. It's certainly fudging the rules... because obviously not all those Top 40 singles were Stevie penned songs. But it's safe to say she at least had a back up vocal on most of them.

I believe that they are also crediting her with every top 50 Billboard hot 100 chart single by Fleetwood Mac as well as her solo career.Which is very misleading since the majority of the Fleetwood Mac hit singles were written by Christine.The 140 million album sales likewise.

I think what is funny is Stevie is like still in the Top 100 artists of all time when it comes to her solo figures in the United States. She only needs this album and maybe some help from Bella Donna reaching another certification to be safe.
