Ok,
So there were these band tryouts at school. I have really wanted to be in a band - and be like and an awesome front man. This year, I made it my goal - and I signed up for the vocal auditions. GAH! I have never sang before in my life to someone that isn't in my family. People who have heard me say I am good - but who's to tell? I don't know if I really can. Should I just quit?

Why should you quit? If you want to do it, give it a shot!
However, if you're going to be fronting a band, you should probably get a little more comfortable singing in front of people, especially outside of your family. You should upload a video and let us hear you!

Go for it! I've been singing my whole life but always felt overshadowed by my sister (who is classically trained and a vocal coach) but lask week I went to sing for a band and it went so much better than I ever expected. They asked me to join them permanently as the 'frontwoman'..! It pays off to bite the bullet.
