From the Bob & Tom interview, Stevie says she and Dave wrote 7 songs together and then 5 are her own, two of which are set to Mike Campbell instrumental tracks.

So does this mean there are only 12 songs?

I assume the 13th song is "Cheaper Than Free", which Dave wrote by himself, I think.

Ah, ok. Thanks for clarifying - I had forgotten about that track.

Dave said in interview that Stevie wrote the lyrics for either the verses or the chorus for Cheaper Than Free. The song is registered with BMI under both names, so she has publishing credit.

You're very correct. It was tiresome a month ago.

As I listened to her interview, it just struck me how hard it must be for her. She has to explain what she did, when and why she did it, sorta explain things to fans. She's 63 years old and she is still fighting the good fight. I mean she is doing the best she can to put out a good album that is still Stevie and there is just a lot of **** she has to go threw.

Going back to Cheaper Than Free, it makes me wonder...before Stevie decided to add the song to her album, it was reported that 14 songs were recorded. If CTF is definitely on the record, that means it was the 15th track, right? It has now been reported that IYD will have 13 tracks...meaning 2 songs were cut. I'm wondering if any of them will go to soundtracks or be released as B-sides? Or maybe they're just bad.

So Stevie says in this interview that she sent Lori back to Phoenix to find the cassette with Secret Love on it. Apparently Lori couldn't find it and Karen found it ON A FAN'S YOUTUBE VIDEO!

Yea Epic is an understatement. Stevie lost her own demo and was only able to retrive it from a fan putting on Youtube. Stevie need to apologize to the internet and the evil youtube now.

And Stevie yet again proved she CAN'T be trusted with dates and when things happened. 2007 sparked thoughts of "Oh Fleetwood Mac" to Stevie.

And I LOVE the attitude of I don't care if anyone buys my stuff anymore!!!

  1. Secret Love
  2. Italian Summer
  3. Annabel Lee
  4. Moonlight - A Vampire's Dream
  5. Everybody Loves You
  6. For What it's Worth
  7. Cheaper Than Free
  8. Soldier's Angel
  9. The Ghosts are Gone
  10. In Your Dreams
  11. "New Orleans" song
  12. "Wide Sargasso Sea" song
  13. Unknown title
  14. Possible bonus track - unknown title (or the bonus track is one of the songs mentioned above and there's another song on the album whose title we don't know)

So, is this accurate? I'm very interested in this "Moonlight" song now that it appears to be a re-worked version of Lady from the Mountain. Where are the people who heard it? Do you remember if it had many/any of the same lyrics?

No, here's the list of songs as they were played on Saturday:

1. Lady from the Mountains/Twilight Song
2. For What It's Worth
3. In Your Dreams
4. Ghosts Are Gone
5. Secret Love
6. Soldier's Angel
7. Annabelle Lee
8. Italian Summer

In the re-worked version of LFTM I'm pretty sure she sang "Some call her strange lady from the mountains" twice. I think at the beginning of 2 of the 3 verses.
