Good lord, does it need some cleaning up or what?
I mean, it's nice that it's thorough, but there's got to be some limit as to what is worth noting there, right? Is it necessary to make note of every TV appearance she's done over the past 6-7 years, or every quote she's given about the new album? If it's a Ledgie that's been so diligent about the updates, God bless you for your dedication. But am I wrong in thinking it's a little *too* detailed? |

I actually like Stevie's wiki! Idk who updates it but kudos to them! The only thing that bugs me about it is how the albums are lumped together. I understand lumping the white album and Rumours together, or The Wild Heart and Rock A Little, but something about "Tusk, Bella Donna, Mirage" irks me.

My problem is that it just seems to be sloppily edited with every new piece of info we receive bit-by-bit.
For example: On such-and-such a date, Dave Stewart tweeted "________" On another Date, Stevie said this "________" Dave Stewart posted a picture of them together on Twitter on this date. ------ If I were a casual fan looking for general info on Stevie, I would rip my hair out at having to scroll through all that...rather mundane...info. |

Oh, I totally agree with you, Josh. It makes me snicker every time when I see she's got an entire SECTION dedicated to her microphone decorations

I like details. But I think it's hard to do it all in a single wiki entry. I think the author should split it into two pages: Stevie's bio and Stevie's music, or perhaps shift all of the music discussion over into the Stevie discography page. I would like to see a comprehensive chronology of everything she has ever recorded and released, including guest appearances, duets, etc., along with a comprehensive inventory of demos, master reels, etc. Maybe even a concert page that provides dates, attendance figures, setlists, musicians, etc. It seems like there is enough collective knowledge on the Ledge to undertake this ambitious feat; it's only a matter of somebody organizing and putting it out there.

The "personal life" section really irks me. I feel like none of it flows at all... it's just like random pieces of information thrown in there in no particular order, which makes it all seem very trivial. For instance, it starts off talking about how she dated Don Henley and David Pesnell, then goes on to say like two sentences about her marriage to Kim, then talks about her dad dying in 2005, randomly mentions that she dated a tv guy in the 70's, throws in a quote about her lifestyle, has a bunch of information about her house and then talks about Lindsay Lohan playing her in a movie.
..... just... ah.

My friends have continuously gone on her Wiki page and changed her info multiple times on me. Stuff that's not even true & should be left for the Uncyclopedia instead -___-

OK...I went through last night and deleted info that I thought was just completely mundane.
Went back today...and viola! It's all been restored! Here are the parts I took out, basically for being completely unnecessary to her entry: *In February 2010, [[Michelle Branch]] commented on her [[Twitter]] account that she was recording a song for a Fleetwood Mac tribute album, a cover version of the Christine McVie 1975 hit "Say You Love Me", and that Nicks was producing the track. (sure, this is cool...but how about include it when whatever this might be for actually sees the light of day?) *On November 5, Dave Stewart and Stevie Nicks jointly announced, via an audio "Shout" on shoutomatic.com/dave-stewart sharing how excited they were "that it's Last day in the studio recording". You can listen to the entire "Shout" on Dave's ShoutOmatic profile. *On March 16, 2010, Stewart reported on his Twitter that he and Nicks were now recording songs together. On BBC Radio 2 on May 3, 2010, he stated in an interview with DJ Simon Mayo that the new album will be recorded throughout June with a release later this year, however this proved to be premature. *On July 19, 2010, Nicks posted a new letter on her official website addressing not only the fake Stevie Nicks on Twitter, but she also confirmed that she is working on a new album with Dave Stewart as her producer. She mentions that the new album is moving quickly and sounding great. *Nicks dated cable television pioneer Timothy O'Brien while living in [[Aspen, Colorado]] in the 1970s. (who? why is this noteworthy)? *Of her lifestyle today, Nicks stated "I am a very different girl from the one who was so wrapped up in rock and roll and the drugs and everything else. I'll never take it all for granted again, ever. Because I also now really realize how quickly that it can go, and that you can be the darling one year, and be nobody the next year. So you have to learn to accept and deal with that." *In spring 2008, Nicks did a few spot shows and then conducted a brief one month tour in June 2008 before preparing for a 2009 tour with Fleetwood Mac. *Removed the "Twister Soundtrack Tour" "In Your Dreams Tour (With Dave Stewart)" from the Tours sections...because there is no "In Your Dreams" tour announced yet. And the "Twister Soundtrack tour"? No such thing. *Removed Lenny Castro, Brett Tuggle, Scott Plunkett, and Jana from her "2010 touring band" members. |

The information about what has been tweeted about her/ what Dave has tweeted/ what other musicians have tweeted about her is totally unnecessary, But I agree with Michele that the TV appearances are pretty neat to have.
