Does anyone know the sales figures for TISL and her albums before that?

If approximations by Gold/Platinum status are okay, here you go:

Bella Donna- 5.8 million Wild Heart- 2 million as of November 1993 Rock A Little- It is only certified platinum (1 million), but it reached platinum by January 1986 and according to Nielsen SoundScan (which was implemented in 1991), it has sold an additional 1 million since 1991-2008. Therefore 2 million, if not more. The Other Side Of The Mirror- 1 million as of November 1997 Street Angel- 500,000 as of November 1997 Trouble In Shangri-la- 849,000 as of May 2008. It would be really nice if we could somehow get current sales on all her albums. It seems RAL is way overdue for a 2x Platinum award and I'm sure Wild Heart must be close to the 3 million mark since the latest info we have is from 1993 which was way before her Dance and TISL resurgence. Also, Street Angel may very well be close to platinum status by now and TISL was only 151,000 away from platinum 3 years ago, so IYD may very well bump it up. I'm also interested in how many copies Crystal Visions and Soundstage Sessions sold. Anyone have any connections with Billboard or Nielsen SoundScan and can get current sales info?

That is true, the last known data has Timespace at 1.8 million! What is even crazier is it has sold over 3 million in the UK! And somebody was saying she doesn't have a fanbase over there.

Wouldn't it be awesome if this year all this happened?
Bella Donna- 6x Platinum Wild Heart- 3x Platinum Rock A Little- 2x Platinum Street Angel- Platinum Trouble In Shangri-La- Platinum Timespace- 2x Platinum They all seem to very close if not already there and it would definitely give Stevie some more kick in her step! As far as I know, the RIAA does not just dole out the certification when they hit the mark, they must do an audit first and incorporate more than just the SoundScan data. There is a fee for this and the label/ management company must request this and pay the fee. Perhaps Reprise has just been holding off? If so, they need to get the ball rolling and update Stevie's sh!t!

I don't think that OSOTM is even close to changing it's status though ..it barely went platinum.

Bella Donna is only certified 4x platinum, not 5 and Rock a Little is totally screwed up, I aked Billboard about it one time and some lady said it had only sold around 100, 000 since 1991 and the new soundscan. The sales figures for this album are totally screwed up I also find it hard to believe that her box set is not Platinum by now. Each disk counts as an album so divide 500,000 by 3 and that's why it went it gold so soon. I'm prettty sure she sold another 100,000 by now. Trouble in Shangri la was not even at 700,000 last time I checked, either |

It did! And it actually could possibly be close to platinum. Since there are three discs, it only needed 167,000 in sales to be Gold and it could have managed to get another 167,000 in sales over the past 12 years.

People if you are looking for Wickepedia for sells figures, keep in mind it's wrong a lot. Basically, anyone can write what they want.
It does seem shady that Bella Donna hasn't sold another 1 million since 1990, especially after the Dance. And I do not trust the figures for Rock a Little at all. Crystal Visions will eventually go Gold and Timespace will go Double platinum, but they are slow to come. Especially Crystal since she never needed to release another greatest hits. I just hope the DVD goes gold. Crystal Visions is gold in Australia though. |

Bella Donna -Multi-Platinum 1-23-1990 (4 mil) -Multi-Platinum 10-13-2004 (5 mil) And the 5.8 million is on Wiki. Who knows when or where the 5.8 mill came from, but I don't think it is wrong. We don't know how many copies it sold from 1990 to 2004, only that by October 2004, it had sold somewhere over 5 million. The 3 million figure caught my attention but I have no evidence for it's validity. It is on wikipedia, "To date the album has sold over 3 million copies in the UK, and has sold 1.8 million copies in the USA" but there is no footnote validating it.
