Lucky I didn't have a swimming 'buddy'!
But do they love swimming pool water?

I've had a pool, for 9 years now, and I've only had ONE snake experience, so far. One that was on my solar cover, that played DEAD, when it saw me, messing with it. With the "skimmer net", I threw it 30' from the pool. Several hours later, my neighbor's cat, was sneaking around the shrubs by my garage. SAME SNAKE! The cat had it wriggling in it's mouth!!!! I ran to the garage, grabbed a shovel, and chopped him into itty bitty pieces!

Probably not, but I have had reports that they have been found near or actually swimming in pools.

Was it a non-lethal species?
Because a tiger snake has a 60% mortality rate. Great to know its living underneath the rock outside of my room.
Oh, and in Australia killing a snake for fun or in defence is illegal. Laws these days.
For killing a Tiger Snake, you get a $7,500 fine and a 18 month jail sentence.

Lethal or not.....I have no idea. And(not trying to sound rude) I couldn't care less. It was a SNAKE, and it was in my pool=instant death=no questions axed. Fines be damned.

My neighbors know, that if my riding mower is running, and they hear me empty the clip on my semi-automatic handgun, that "Oh, David just killed another snake". Because that's.how.I.roll. I hate snakes. I kill snakes. No questions axed.

Are they an endangered species or something? If they are, then that law makes sense, one supposes. If not... well, if it's kill or be killed...

I'm so glad I have my laptop back. There are no lines going down the screen, the L key works, and I don't have a limited time on the home computer anymore

Just been for a walk around the town and gotten spectacularly lost...And I feel wonderful! It struck me - when I was walking lazily in the dark with the neon lights and dim lights from the shop windows glowing - what I really ultimately want in life. Freedom. Freedom to walk where I like without having parents at home worrying. Freedom to dissappear for days and weeks on end and not have to answer to anybody. This. Is. Bliss. Standing there with night air teasing my hair... Fresh air and endless directions to go in. I don't know how much longer I can stayconfined to my cage. I'm a Bird and I want to fly.

I have still got another 2 weeks before my summer holiday is over.

And yes, I actually want to go back to school. Of course, now that i'll be in Year 10, there be a fresh new batch of Year 7's *insert wicked laugh here*

At least you didn't get trapped in a crevass, have no one know where you were, and have to cut off your arm to get free. (sorry, just saw the movie 127 Hours over the weekend...moral of the story, "always tell SOMEBODY where you're going")

Congratulations!
I remember getting in ED (to Middlebury) as one of the happiest moments of my life. There's nothing like being DONE.
Of course, I ended up hating it there, but that's a separate issue...

Now you basically just have to avoid failing classes and getting into legal trouble.
Have you chosen yet? Penn State's a good school!
