Thumbs up Rolling Stone Review- Secret Love, and Comments

http://www.rollingstone.com/music/so...-love-20110118

Both Rolling stone speak fairly highly of this, and the comments are REALLY good. Even a few people who didn't know who Stevie was commented that it was a great song!!

I just think it's exciting to see so many positive comments. And like I said, a few people weren't familiar with Stevie and thought the song was great!

I added my comment too. I am so glad others agree that this song is catchy and they find themselves putting it on repeat. I think the "Commercial Gods" listened to Stevie and made it so radio friendly, we all will be hearing it in the malls and cafes and shopping centers across America and on the radio.

Incredible! I hope Warner's is paying attention to some of these comments! Everyone loves it and there is not a negative review to be found. So far it's all four and five stars with the exception of 1 three star review. Even non-fans and people who haven't heard of her have nothing but positive things to say. Here are some of my favorites...

"As a full time working studio musician and part time engineer/mixer, I must say that this song is as close to perfect as one can get! Dave Stewart is a genius and Stevie Nicks is a brilliant and most underrated songwriter. In a world of Auto Tuned "computerized" talent, this is a welcomed change in the world of Pop/Rock. An organic masterpiece!"

"I'm reading all of these comments and scratching my head. Everyone seems to know who she is, but I have never heard of her before today. I'm a bad music lover, I guess. Anyways, the track is sweet and her voice is very unique and sultry. I like that a lot. She's beautiful too. Somebody say she is 62 but I find that hard to believe. I will looking forward to this album from May. Her voice is crazy amazing I keep listening to the song on repeat."

"I got so sick of Stevie Nicks! I used to be a Stevie Fanatic up until the late 90's. Then I stopped listening. I haven't listened to her in about 12 years, until I saw this! My jaw is on the floor! This is the Stevie I used to love!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"My mother was shunned by her parents (who I have never met) when she got pregnant with me out of wedlock. It has always been something that made her depressed. Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac was the only music that could cheer her up. I was pretty much raised on that music and I feel that Stevie is the grandmother I never had. Hearing this song makes me so happy. She is the real deal."

"I've never been much of a fan. Her voice always bugged me. Not so much, though on this one. It's very soothing. As a musician myself, I will say that this is a very well crafted pop song. Bravo, Miss Nicks! If the rest of the tunes on her album are like this, I'll buy it."

"I don't know who this woman is, but this stuff is awesome."

You can tell who the hardcore Stevie fans are, so I tried not to post any of their comments.

I sent a "tweet" to Dave Stewart with a link to the Rolling Stone article. He left a comment on their page as well...

"Hey Glad you guys are Loving It Dave"

Hahaha. That's so funny. I would be worried if he didn't.
