He looked like he was on the verge of a panic attack to me. Although, I have to say he did very well in his speech and was glad he made the effort to accept the accolades.

Ken looked like he'd been up for days...or weeks.

Thank you BTFLCHLD for this and the speeches video too. I thought it was cool that Ken dressed like Lindsey and it was great hearing all the nice things that were said about Lindsey - especially from Mr. Scheiner. Really touching.

Thanks too, CADreaming for the BTLH video which was also really neat David Pack's words were clearly heartfelt, and his performance was great.

I think that's just his natural look whenever he's out of his element, i.e. w/o his guitar I thought he was adorable and I'm proud of him. He was just so classic Lindsey with his speech...and I'm just glad we have it on video

He just sounded a little winded and out of breath to me. Like he'd spent the whole day picking pears.

So, he dumped the painting comparison. It's now just big movie, little movie. He can't just callously discard analogies I've come to rely on like that.

Those pear jokes crack me up every time

It is comforting, I 100% agree.

I liked how they used his music, like the little Trouble intro as he took the stage.

I want to comb his hair forward. Wonder what that would look like.

thanks BTFLCHLD for posting! i liked his speech, he actually sounded better / more comfortable at that lectern then when he gives his little intros in the concert. and i thought he looked much better than in still photos from the event.

however, i have to say that i severely dislike when whoever is talking about the honoree turns that speech into a tirade about themselves instead. or in this case, about their daughter.

EDIT: i enjoyed watching BTLH but i now have new-found appreciation for lindsey's singing

Saw the movie analogy coming a mile away, even if it is every-so-slightly different than usual.

I think he was more moved by the speeches - especially Scheiner's - then he was by the award itself!

Oh, I know. Barf. At least he did say that she added GYOW to her set, so I guess it was relevant, kind of. Still . . .

Lindsey said Fleetwood Mac was not unambivalent. I guess that means they WERE ambivalent. He should lighten up. My brain is too beleaguered to deal with double negatives these days. Michele

Thanks for the vid. Lindsey so deserved this award and I like that the one guy said that with great emphasis. He's finally getting his and I'm glad to be able to see some of this happen. Although his entire outfit/hair situation isn't appealing to me, I am so beyond that with Lindsey. It really all comes down to his amazing music and all his incredible gifts. The rest is simply icing on the cake. He still has it in him to look hot and perhaps he will change it up for the heck of it one day, but I'll still love him the same way if he doesn't. That's how great he is.
