It wasn't an imposter though. A Warner Bros. employee was the one who directed people to the pages. I'm guessing either Stevie didn't want to be connected to them or they are waiting to use them more towards the album release.

Twitter discontinued providing "verified" accounts awhile ago... I suspected something was up in the beginning especially with the twitter page as the ONE tweet kept changing from "watch stevie perform a classic on ellen" to "watch Stevie perform her new single on ellen", then back to the first one... all the while there was no trace of the previous tweets... it was weird, thought I was seeing things...

But I still believe the twitter account was a WB rep, probably asked to get the word out... and then be done with it.

STEVIE FOUND OUT

coz i'm pretty sure that STEVIENICKS on twitter was already taken by a "fan"
so there would have been some discussions with people to "obtain" the user names
hmmmmmmmmmm

ETA: watch the accounts reperk up in march or whenever the tours are looming lol

Either that or Sarah, the WB rep got tired of all the tweets today with the download fiasco.

The facebook page now has the new photo and still has the WB link.

If it was just a fan, she should be rewarded - she probably helped Stevie's promotion tremendously in just one day. Stevie needs to get a grip and let WB work this thing if they will...
