Well after just reading this thread from start to finish, it has been the biggest roller-coaster ride of emotions I've had in a long while, with excitement building, then extremely excited about Stevie performing a new song

, then it all came crashing down & back to reality.

I realize that both Rod & Stevie are promoting this mini tour on Ellen, why does she always feel the need to sing the same old safe hits on TV??? Why not throw caution to the wind for once, & go for it.. Sing it loud and proud, ya never know she might even generate interest from people that have never heard that much of her music in the past. This is just another missed opportunity..But after saying that, I'm really looking forward to watching her promo tomorrow on TV, cant wait for her new CD to be released in May..

Seriously what is the point anymore.

Stevie had a chance to generate massive interest on one of America's most loved Talk shows and she has blown it. You can't generate interest and excitement by playing one of your old hits. There is no other artist in the business that has reduced themselves to this, did she not sing this in 07 on Ellen as well ? Surely the full point of going on the show was to big up the new album.

Well, at least Lindsey has the balls to do it !!

Someone is messing around... On Twitter, that message has changed a couple of times, yet it still says they've only made one tweet... That message above was posted first, then they posted on Twitter that she performs her single... nows its changed back to the first message... all this without leaving a trace... makes you think you were seeing things.

i am excited to see the ellen show i heard that she will be doing a new song. but we will have to wait and see. but i hope she does.

I think it was confirmed the previews were actually from 2007. She just got through taping at 8 or 9 pm est last night, so they were using old footage.

He said Stevie was trying to think of one of his (songs), then he named "Maggie May". LOL!
