Amidst all my excitement, a thought crossed my mind. What if Stevie's new single is Annabell Lee? *depressed* But I doubt it is!

I have a feeling it'll be one of these 'upbeat rockers' we've been hearing about. All this activity today seem like they're really making an effort now to kickstart her 'comeback', as it were, and market her as a vibrant artist.

i think they're referring to the picture on the back screen
behind them

L-R looks like Stevie, Chris & Barbara
but it could be Rod, Oprah and JK Rowling for all I know :P

Holy **** is RIGHT! I'm in shock This is terrific surprise! Who would have thought she would debut a new song on Ellen, and not on Itunes/Amazon or something. It must be a rocker cause she had the full band!

Same here. I feel like I can FINALLY let go and get excited about this project. It has a name, a release date, Stevie's starting to perform songs from it... it's REALLY happening!!

Don't know if this is just a hiccup BUT Stevie's official facebook page just posted a status that only mentions a performance, no mention of her performing a brand new single...

Tune in to The Ellen Show tomorrow, January 13th to see Stevie perform live & share a very special announcement. Check your local listings for more information.

Maybe we shouldn't get too excited yet?
