Question Say Goodbye...Help!

Ok, so i am driving way out in booney pennsylvania today with the Say You Will CD on really loud. I played the whole CD and when I got to Say Goodbye, which I love, I SWEAR I hear sniffing in that song....twice. I played it three times and I hear it! Does anyone hear it also??? And no its not me sniffing as I listen to those heartbreaking lyrics!
And no I have never been in a psycho ward...lol..though I am a nurse..

Yeah, I have read before here, someone mentioned the sniffing. Around what part of the song is it on?

Yes, I think I may have been the one to mention this before. I hear sniffling and I also hear him say towards the end of the song "I could never say goodbye to you" although the lyrics listed are "and now I say goodbye to you." Things that make you go HMMMMM......

Yea there's one "sniff" at 3:00 exactly.

It's on the same vocal track that he's used to record the exhaling "yeaaa" that happens at 3:03, so there are two possibilities: either he decided to put in the parts for that vocal track all in one take, to give it a really organic feel, in which case my guess is he probably sniffed just to clear his nose for the forthcoming "yeaaa", heard the result and decided to keep it in the mix.......OR............it's intentionally there (a genuine lump-in-throat sniff during the recording of the song, or he faked it.)

Either way, it makes an already very emotionally charged song even more intense.

The very end sounds like he's under water. Maybe he;s crying that hard, he doesn't WANT to say goodbye!!!!!!!!!!!
