Arrow predictions?

does anybody have any predictions for...

...how many copies SYW will eventually sell?

...what peacekeeper's peak position on the hot 100 will be?

...how many singles will be released?

...what the highest-charting single will be, and where it will peak?

...how long SYW will stay in the top 10 album chart?

I think the lp will drop out of the top ten by next week.I am really hoping they release the title track soon and not wait until Peacekeeper peaks on the AC charts with their glacial movement.I think"Say You Will' has the most potential for a hit and the Lp could do double platinum here if they get it out in time.Good follow up singles would be WTWCT and Thrown Down in that order.

If they do five singles, which I doubt, but if they did...I would like to see:

1. Peacekeeper
2. Say You Will
3. Thrown Down
4. Everybody Finds Out
5. What's the World Coming To

Other single possibilities could be Running Through the Garden, Steal Your Heart Away, and Smile At You.

They will never release 8 singles though, so that's just crazy talk.

Say You Will, in its 2nd week, fell to #8. It'll probably be in the top 10 one more week. I see it going Platinum.

I don't know where Peacekeeper is on the Billboard 100, but i can't see it making the top 40. Say you will has a better shot at being a big hit than Peacekeeper. I could see it make the Top 20.

-double-platinum
-peacekeeper may make the 50s or 40s on the top 100.
-4 singles (peacekeeper, SYW, TD, SYHA or EFO)
-SYW--#15 or so
-i bet it'll be 10 or 12 next week.

1. Platinum and a half, MAYBE double if the title track does well as a single.

2. No idea, but probably not much higher than it is. Not that it matters because that's not FM's targeted audience anymore. I don't see why they won't give it a try, but it can't go too far if they don't play it on Top 40 stations.

3. Two singles -- the two mentioned on the sticker. Possibly three again if the title track does well as a single. EFO won't be a single however because they're not doing it live...I'd think if it were even being considered they would do it live.

4. No idea.

5. I think one more week or two, hopefully.

I was thinking about this just today. I really do not see why they could not release the title song now. It is very different from Peacekeeper. In fact, it really almost could be two different songs from two different bands. So, I say, what do they have to lose. Of course, I though "Everyday" had hit single sritten all over it as did "Silver Springs" and those songs went comparatively nowhere on the Hot 100, although Silver Springs and Landslide from The Dance did get alot of radio play here in Atlanta. So, just my $0.02

Actually, "Silver Springs" was released before they changed the charts to include airplay only album tracks. Then, you had to have a commercially available single to be eligible to chart on the hot 100. "Silver Springs" could have been a top 20 hit. It got that high on the hot 100 airplay chart but since there was no single, it didn't make the hot 100 sales chart. The combined charts determined the actual hot 100.

BRIAN

p.s. Same with "landslide" which, when it WAS released as a commercial single, got up to #56 (or #54, can't remember exactly) on the hot 100. By the time they released it commercially however, it had already peaked and was on it's way down the airplay charts or it could have been higher. Maybe Reprise only released it because they were sick of fans calling to ask for promo copies of the remix. lol
