Default Sara - Live in the 80's

Hey ya'll. So, Sara in the 80's.

I have Wild Heart performances from Houston, Dallas, Meadowlands, Chicago and NYC. I have Rock A Little shows from Austin, Dallas and Houston.

Does anyone have any others that they can share? Would be great, thanks so much you guys.

She did Sara during the Rock a Little tour? I had no idea. The best ones, in my opinion, are from the Tusk tour.

I think it was dropped fairly early in the tour but I can't imagine a RALesque Sara. I can't imagine Stevie keeping it "calm" for very long. I agree that the Tusk performances were the best. I frankly never cared for Bella Donna era Sara.

I read in some old fanzine that FM actually did ‘Sara’ on the European leg of the ‘Tango’ tour. Can anyone verify this??

Or did some clueless Euro concert reviewer confuse ‘Sara’ with some other song Stevie did onstage?

Yes, absolutely. The recording of this show (soundboard) has been in wide circulation for years. I would post it but it is on my home computer.

Not only did "some old fanzine claim" that FM did "Sara" on the European tour in 1988, that woman who wrote the liner notes for Fleetwood Mac - Greatest Hits (1988) confirmed it as well.

There are two 1988 European live versions of "Sara" that were broadcast over the radio, one in England and the other in Germany.

Yes! Someone please do post. Mucho thanks!

I'm particularly curious as to how Billy Burnette and Rick Vito did the guitar parts (in the absence of Lindsey's terrific delicate finger picking on 'Sara'; as heard on the 1980 live album).

Here's Memphis & Oakland '82, Sweden & London '88, and Oklahoma City '83 for starters. I was trying to upload a couple more, but MediaFire is being a pain.

I have the entire concert on my drive. I'll upload it when MediaFire's uploader starts working again.
