One other distinctive aspect of Stevie's vocal styles is her often drawled and wavering ending notes on lines, in which she sometimes seems about to slip off-key but does not. A friend of mine once said that it makes Stevie sound like she is sulking.

I love Stevie's voice back on Buckingham Nicks, alll the way til' this summers not a tour tour. (lol i feel so retarded saying that) It wasn't like a sudden change, like Rhiannon 76' to Rhiannon 06' instantly... It slowly changed (on all songs), so we got used to it over a long period of time. She can still hold her notes pretty amazingly, and she can still do that screamy thingy at the end of edge of seventeen *chills*
