Default why did stevie leave in the middle of sisters

Hey, I heard 3 1982 versions of sisters of the moon, one in baton rouge, memphis, and oakland, heres my questions why did stevie leave in my middle of sisters a let lindsey sing, i mean he sings it perfectly, but why did stevie have to leave the stage in the middle of the song?? i always thought it was too prepare for her Castanet cowbell dance, what do you all think?

I don't know why but I'm really glad she did I love hearing Lindsey coming in on Sisters, it's like in When I See You Again where he just comes out of nowhere and adds a whole new dimension into the mix.

I think you're putting the cart before the horse. Was it really a question of she "had to"? The band premiered the song on the 1978 tour with Lindsey singing the bridge. It's ... just ... the ... arrangement of the song, & it was played that way in 1982, as well.

The real mystery is why that original arrangement wasn't used on the Tusk tour. (Stevie herself sang the bridge the whole year.)

I can't assume there was a "dance" like that on a regular basis. We have one video of one performance, & that's not enough to conclude that it was a regular part of the song over a 5-year period (much like the Rhiannon dance).

i not putting any cart on any horse, i was just curious! and yeah, i just heard the 1978 version, i think on the album she was singing it the entire time, and maybe she had to sing it back in 1979-1980 for the whole time, i dont know what do you think?

Maybe thats why video versions always seems to skip a segment. As someone said earlier before, she probably was getting read for her cowbell session. Maybe they just didn't want to show her walk off a come back.

I agree especially on the 1982 Mirage HBO special they all were high with coke and booze awesome concert. you can see Stevie's nose running during Rhiannon an amazing performce too so definetly she leaves to get ready for her little dance but I am sure its also for a coke fix they all were in that concert and put on such an amazing show too love it.
