Dissatisfied and DYELM are okay, but I really like Remember Me, particularly Weston's solo - one of his best contributions to Fleetwood Mac.

I love all three of these songs. Remember Me is my favorite, her first pop treatment of the blues. I first heard this song in 1982. I loved it! Instantly catchy. Weston's guitar work is excellent--that very identifiable tag that's laid over the first several bars, and then the impressive solo in the middle. My only criticism is he plays a bit too much in the spaces between her verses, it's a bit too busy, especially since the backing track is compelling even without the guitar.
Dissatisfied is sheer fun. It's a great, pop-blues shuffle, and again Weston's guitar solo on here is excellent. Is it me or is Christine's voice double tracked on parts of these songs? Did You Ever Love Me--it's a great song. Her voice is in perfect form here. Nothing on Future Games or Bare Trees suggests that she could sing this well. It was with Penguin that Christine began to mature as a songwriter and vocalist. |

Did we ever decide whether to count "Did You Ever Love Me" as Christine, Welch, or collaboration, cause I can't remember if we did!!
