Oh, I like Go Insane a lot, especially I Want You and Loving Cup, in addition to the title tune. I just wouldn't start my LB education with it.

Yay! Generalising comments bring GI fans out of the woodwork *happy squeel* I think Slow Dancing, Go Insane and D.W. Suite are my favourites. It's such a well put together and atmospheric album. I'd love him to make another album in this vain, but I guess we all know that he's moved on some since then. Happiness makes him approach his work differently.

Agreeing with a lot of people here, definitely start with Out Of The Cradle. I remember being in the music store and saying to myself "Hmm, I need to listen to more solo Lindsey. I think I'll choose this one! *SNAG*" Law and Order is the other album I have, and it's wacky. I like Bwana and It Was I a lot though.

I need to listen to Gift of Screws and Go Insane!

Alright then, I believe I am going to order GOS next time I'm at HMV if it's not too expensive. (They are getting me Destiny Rules at the moment, it's taking FOREVER!) I am DYING to watch it!!!!

A friend of mine wasn't familiar with any of Lindsey's solo material (except for Law & Order which he was disappointed with and really didn't care for it)

So I made him a "sampler" disc...he called me a week later saying how great it was.

Here's what I put on it:

Don't Look Down (including "Intro")
Wrong
Love Minus Zero/No Limit
Cast Away Dreams
Holiday Road
Big Yellow Taxi
(thanks, Luke!)
Peacekeeper (his solo version)
Loving Cup
Soul Drifter
Go Insane
Try For The Sun
You Do Or You Don't
Down On Rodeo
All My Sorrows
Dancing Across The USA
Countdown
Gotta Get Away
Great Day
This Nearly Was Mine
Say We'll Meet Again

Nah, it has always been my favourite. Slow Dancing, Loving Cup, & Go Insane are brilliant.

Maybe I just need to post more. I've been here ten years and still feel under the radar lol.

Hehe. Sometimes everybody feels like that. I can be with a group of my friends and still feel like I'm at home in bed for all the conversation I take part in lol. I guess it's just down to posting whenever you have something to say.

Yes, I feel like that in most situations. I guess I've always just prefered to observe rather than take part, and on a message board that doesn't really work. My posts tend to annoy me as well so I don't bother.

That last sentence was actually really sad! Aww. Well if you ever want somebody to talk to I'm just a PM away. And I'm always up for hijacking threads with random chit chat whenever you feel like it lol. Me and Cassie (Missladyloky) tend to do it all the time without even realising lol.

Maybe Lindsey could do an album of duets with Yoko Ono. They seem to share a similar style.

Personally I don't think that would work. Not if we still hold any hope of our beloved FM staying intact j/k/ Maybe Bjork would be a better bet? Could be an interesting concept album.

And your signature! It's worrying yet adorable yet making me feel uncomfortable. Rofl!

Many thanks for the kind words. I appreciate it.
