Would you really want to piss off a woman who wore these everywhere?

Her poor tendons! She must really love those boots because I can only imagine the world of pain they cause. Even a small kitten heel is enough to have me limping. Having said that, they are gorgeous! Especially the first Cream coloured ones.

I love her platforms but I know I could never wear them. I have feet issues and those heels would just kill me. I'm surprised she didn't hurt herself when she was younger with all the moving around she did back than. Did anyone ever hear about stories back than? I know recently but not back in the 70's or early 80's? I love the cream colored ones too but love the blue one's and red. Supposedly she had like 30-40 different colored pairs made at one time? I wonder if she still have all of them? Just image all those colors. Pink/green/gray...gray would be nice....etc......wow. Just like her clothes.....shame she didn't wear more of those colors on stage.......IMO anyway.....

I laugh thinking how much boots (especially suede ones) can make your feet sweat. If they aren't lined, they may not be too hot in the winter time, but in the summer or after 2 hours on stage during a hot concert, I'm sure the boots can get pretty ripe.

So, when Stevie unzipped and took them off, it could really be time to Stand Back.

Lol!
Don't worry, I'm sure when her feet sweat, it smells like cotton candy and skittles!

Knee high boots in general are not a hot weather boot but imo unless a person has a smelly feet condition already, their shoes shouldn't be foul smelling. I have never had foul foot odor and none of my boots or shoes smell. I don't ever see Stevie having, muchless wearing slimy smelly shoes. I think leather and suede smell good naturally anyway.

These days Stevie seems to be much colder than everyone else, but I guess not so much in the old days. It seems like now ANYTIME she performs an outdoor or fall concert she wears a bulky scarf..

To be fair, the gal ain't as young as she used to be. And you have to admit she looks so adorable all bundled up.

Yeah, she must have anemia or something. Anyone else would collapse from heat stroke the way she dresses.

I'm severely anaemic and I can vouch for the coldness. I'm freezing most of the time, even in summer. And she does look quite pale and a little clammy alot of the time, which does seem to suggest it.

Woah! When did I become a "senior ledgie" lol? That makes me feel like I've been here forever hehe.

I remember during the Enchanted tour around the time she was voted one of People's Most Beautiful, she would wear a long chiffon scarf with one of her outfits on stage and it hung way down in front and looked stylish and pretty. And this was outside and a mild evening in June. Back then I think her long light and airy scarf choices were just for certain dramatic looks and high fashion onstage. These days I think she really is cold sometimes, I just don't understand why she needs to be so bundled up like it's 30 degrees at outdoor shows. Just throw on a couple more shawls or something or wear one of her fabulous long jackets or coats. I think she's protecting her vocal chords during some chilly outdoor shows with those thick velvet neck wraps or furs, but they're too bulky and wintery looking for shows. The lighter chiffon wraps looked much better.
