No, what's pathetic is a person exploiting a friend's death for attention with the aim of forcing Stevie's hand into meeting them. I think all Stevie fans have a right to take issue with this... the poorly written press release makes us all appear to be nutbags, and using the cover story of a fellow fan's tragic death as ammo is just deplorable.

I have no problem with fan parties. They're great! But to invite the press to them, in hopes of presenting a homemade scrapbook to Stevie herself? It just comes across as super, super creepy and downright desperate.

This is my opinion, these are my feelings, and I have a right to them. I WILL NOT be painted as a "hater" for calling things as I seem them. I've been on this board for nearly a decade now. Really sorry you see people's "excitement" and turn it into jealousy and hate.. WE didn't write the press release. The individual who wrote it did it without any of our knowledge, and had NO RIGHT to do it. Arlene would never exploit Pat's death, or anything for that matter. You're sadly misinformed, and obviously don't know Arlene if you'd even consider that she would do that. So, stop making yourself look like an ignorant moron and shut up.

Hi all. I am going to this pre concert party also to finally meet some Stevie fans I have met online for a while now. I am just excited to finally meet fans and have this chance to rock out to Stevie. This press release also shocked me, but am moving forward and past this... to the white sand..... Arlene is a dear friend and we are all shocked and surprised just like everyone else is. (I am only guessing that Stevie excitement got the best of someone and got carried away).
