Looks like Rhiannon will win after all.

Right now, Crystal. But over all, and no matter what, Rhiannon is *the* Stevie Nicks song.

This is a song about a Welsh Witch.

Rhiannon yields new treasures--still!--each time I listen to it.

I had to chose Crystal just because I've heard Landslide and Rhiannon way, way too many times!

All three are all time greats. yeah...yeah, tired of Landslide etc. etc. But I have to give it to Rhiannon. There is just no denying it is the superbowl champion and purvayor of the Stevie Nicks image and legacy, while Landslide is a very close second, and may well be the song she is most remembered as writing.
Crystal is a special treasure, best hidden from the overplayed giants surrounding it. |

Rhiannon is one of my favourite Stevie songs. Along with Dreams and Sarah it makes up my Stevie top three

Crystal for me, too.
I'm used to loving the songs that lose! |

I was going to go for Crystal as I much prefer the other two live over their album versions, but seeing Landslide get demolished is sad, so I'm throwing it a bone.

I voted for Crystal because it's a beautiful song. Simple really. Landslide I love, although to be honest with you I think it's one of those songs they tend to "phone in" and play to death. The same danger is with Rhiannon too. But Crystal I find doesn't tend to get as much credit as it deserves. I especially love the Buckingham Nicks version. I haven't owened BN for long really as it has taken me years to find somebody with a copy of the vinyl they were willing to sell me. But £40 lighter I have and love the album. It's hard to understand why they weren't allowed the follow up album, considering how well I feel it's put together.

First off, I don't like Rhiannon.
I know, I know, but please don't have me banned or taken behind a shed and shot!! ![]() Between Crystal and Landslide - like em both equally - went with Landslide, mainly b/c Crystal is just too long of a song, it just keeps going and I'm like "End the Song Already!!" ![]() Just updated the Sticky thread, so check it out! ![]() |
