Street Angel Tour Stories

at the woodlands. if i remember correctly, she opened with The Chain and made a snarky remark about dedicating it to Mick Fleetwood, which i think was right after his ghastly tell-all book came out. also, she did a musical bit during an audience chat "you make me feel so young.... you make me feel there are songs to be sung" which was an exciting crowd pleaser. of course, long nets of white cloud my memory as well, so who knows.....

My friend Bob and I went to Cincinnati, and I had bought front row seats to the Kansas City show from someone on the Nicksfix ()... on the way, we stopped for the St. Louis show as well...

Kansas City was incredible... During Edge of 17, Bob gave Stevie the necklace he was wearing to her (was an Ankh)... she came back out on stage wearing it saying she had been talking about Ankhs all day.... launched into HAEWAFY, clutching the Ankh and while singing "I thought there was a connection"... We went to the Ritz Carlton after the show - got to meet her and the band in the bar!!! She was gracious and beautiful... and just talked & talked. AND! Even after changing her clothes, she still had Bob's necklace on! We were so fortunate.... was an experience I (we) will never forget. We opted not to get autographs, we felt like it would had ruined the moment.... we had met her back in 1991 and had already gotten autographs ( see my sig). There were a couple of other fans in the bar that night that approached her after we left... anyone reading this that might've been there?

I'm sure the days of Stevie hanging out in the bar after the show are long gone...
