Default Just one song on each Tonight Show?

The Tonight Show website shows FM singing Peacekeeper Wednesday and Say You Will on Thursday. Does this mean that is all they are doing each night? There couldn't be a worse live song that they could do in front of a 20 million live TV audience than Peacekeeper - they must have taken the 'How to ruin a 30 year reputation' course the week before the Today show. I am just praying they come out and do a stellar performance of any one the other great Say You Will songs on Wednesday and put Peacekeeper to death already!! Just my honest opionion. By the way I was at the Today show in NYC and it sounded great live despite the obvious screw ups so I was very upset to hear how lousy it came across on TV. I wonder if it sounded great live just because of the sheer excitement of the moment or whether it actually translated poorly onto TV? Who knows.

Amen! I agree 100%. It's time to kick some ass big time! I think they need to be careful what they do live. Peacekeeper has too much studio wizardry to work well live. People will expect to hear it like it's been on the radio. Why do something you can't deliver? SYW is good for a live display if Stevie and Lindsey "get into it" and show some emotion or energy. They should really do something more funky like Miranda or WTWCT that can show off the playing abilities of Mick, John and LB. If they still "have it" it'll show. If Lindsey's relying on a million studio overdubs to get his guitar licks down, it's obvious what Stevie meant when she hinted the band's not road ready. Let's find out the truth and live or die with it.

I agree---do something w/ an Impact!!! Damn it...I mean I understand that Peacekeeper is the current single - but I'm afraid to admit it has stalled on the charts...I think its heading south soon ...so they should try and salvage and release a new song right away...
They should do Miranda & Destiny Rules!!

I would actually love to see LB rip through Come with Stevie singing the main vocals, but that will never happen for about a billion reasons!!!!

I think instead of Peacekeeper, his song should be "Steal Your Heart Away" because I think it has has pop hit written all over it, it is a very pretty song, it is not a comparatively hard vocal for anyone, etc.

SN should do a rip roaring version of "Everybody Finds Out," which I think should be the next single.

I would LOVE to see Stevie tear that song up!
Have to punch up the beginning though. And rehearse, rehearse, rehearse!

I remember the first time I saw Fall From Grace performed live. An awards show, I think, before the TISL tour. It was a really bad performance. A real shame because it's a great song.

I agree with the previous picks such as EFO. The public wants to see fifty-something rockers tearing things up like the Stones or Tina Turner. I remember a review of Tango's Shake the Cage Tour said that FM's best days are behind it, but the beast still has some life left. I don't agree with that comment, but I think a lot of people are prepared to think that. I'd love to see this band get burning on Leno - seering riffs from Lindsey, maybe a kick or two from Stevie. Peacekeeper & SYW are not the songs for this job. I think it's a mistake for this band to market the singles rather than the talent/performance factor; for all the promotion, I'm not hearing Peacekeeper played at all near me.

I agree about Peacekeeper and SYW not being ideal picks for the Tonight Show.

I hope they pull out EFO perhaps, something that will get the show kicking and their tour some momentum.

Overall Im hoping for a stronger appearance vs. the Today show. My Dad (who because of his love of Stevie, named me Stephanie) saw it and said it was one of the worst shows of theirs he'd heard. He said they looked freezing to top it off... so Im hopeful for a better show on the 2-nite gig!

They have already played PeaceKeeper and Say You Will on the Today show. You would think they would mix it up a bit and play two other songs but no, of course not. They need to hire me as their advisor!

I am disappointed. I was hoping for a surprise, but I guess they don't like surprises...oh well.

I am just happy to see them at all

This Whats Your Point is rather annoying. These people are obviously faking being as stupid as they can be and it's annoying. Nothing real about it.

I can't wait 'til they do Letterman. He's actually funny - they better do two nights for him, too!

I second that thought about Letterman. I hope they do and for two nights like they did last time. Dave loves the Mac and when they have appeared together or separate for their solos, you can see Dave loves the music. Jay is just too boring and he does not look like he gets into anything on his show.
