I always liked Paulette. Great memories. Thanks for sharing.

Btw, the last video is the only one with Highway 101. Imagine this - a band and singers who really performed live on television!

Band members:
Cactus Moser - drums
Curtis Stone - bass
Jack Daniels - guitar

This is so funny that you posted these, I was just watching these same videos earlier this week on YouTube. Was a big fan of Highway 101 when they first came out. That first album of theirs is great. Paulette did two more albums then split to do her own thing (her first solo album is great too).
The clip I was looking for was an appearence Paulette made after her first solo album came out on the TNN show Crook & Chase (I think that was the show, Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase hosted it). Paulette was singing a song and dancing around like a dervish and somehow got herself all tangled up in the mic cord. It was a live show so they just kind of went to commercial afterwards.
I do recall many people making the comparison between Stevie and Paulette back in the day.

I had a chance to meet Highway 101 at the North Haven CT Fair years ago ,At that time Paulette was gone and Nikki was there with the band.I do remember the Crook and Chase show,I recorded it every day,I probably have that show with the segment boxed somewhere in my garage.I do miss those old TNN days,Now CMT and GAC has to many reality shows.Like that CMT Singing Bee show.I hope If the the country Rumours tribute gets up and running, Stevie / Mick will give Paulette a call.

I loved TNN too...you know, I think I recall Paulette being touted as the country Stevie Nicks back in the day...she had a very unique voice for sure and was a heck of songwriter.

When I first got cable (around 1985) I pretty much only watched TNN and MTV all day (I was 14). TNN had some great shows on. I liked Nashville Now which for those that don't know what it was, it was like the late night talk shows of today except it was all country artists or comedians or NASCAR drivers. The show was on for an hour and a half Monday thru Friday at 8 or 9pm (I forget now). The artists would come out and talk about their latest album and sing three or four songs. It was great. Then there was Crook and Chase which was sort of like Entertainment Tonight but it focused on country singers. The hosts Lorianne Crook and Charlie Chase morphed that into a longer version that was news and performances. Finally before TNN died they had Prime Time Country hosted by Gary Chapman (ex-husband of Amy Grant who left Chapman for Vince Gill). That show wasn't quite as good as Nashville Now. Then of course TNN was replaced by Spike TV.

That lady does seem like a country Stevie.

This lady reminds me of a young country-esque Stevie.

Wow Jessie does look like 70's Stevie. She sound good too.

Heres Sarah Buxton,She has a similar voice, also Stevie is one of her idols

This one here is one of her tunes with this still photo,She looks like Sheryl Crow here.

Heres info about her from wikipedia that she met Stevie who encouraged her to pursue music and move to Nashville.

Will i hope Sarah gets invited to the Rumours Country tribute too.
So Stevie and Mick give Sarah a call too.
