Band/music stuff you own

MissLadyLoki · #1 06-02-2010, 08:36 PM

This can include band merch (like t-shirts), books, collectibles, etc. Pretty much anything music-related. Here's what I have.

Shirts (back in high school, everyone pretty much embraced the lifestyle of their music, e.g. someone who listen to hip hop wears Ecko, but this is the extent of it for me lol):
Led Zeppelin (got 2: a mock 1977 tour shirt, and one of those black ones with the Swansong Records logo)
Aerosmith
The Who
Metallica (Ride the Lightning)
Fleetwood Mac (Unleashed tour shirt)
Pink Floyd (Dark Side of the Moon)
Should hopefully have a Jethro Tull tour shirt come June 11

Other random stuff:
Led Zeppelin poster (it's one of those Stairway to Heaven ones that, if you wait till tomorrow, I'll put a pic up of it)
Stuffed Fleetwood Mac penguin (got an Unleashed shirt and, based on my love for stuffed animals, I had to get him)
Pink Floyd Converse (yeah, I love my Chucks, and this was a cool lo-top pair based around DSOTM, but the laces were too damn long)

So, I bet you guys have a lot more than me, but that's it.

I'm afraid I don't have more than you. My music memorabilia is pretty spare:
(Crinkled) Unleashed Poster (black, looks like Say You Will poster... or so I'm told.

).
Black Unleashed T-Shirt.
Beat that!

Here's my FM albums (so far), all on CD and none remastered:
Kiln House
Future Games
Penguin
Mystery To Me
Heroes Are Hard To Find
Fleetwood Mac (1975)
Rumours
Tusk
Mirage
Tango In The Night
Behind The Mask
(Selections From) 25 Years - The Chain
Time
The Very Best Of Fleetwood Mac (USA 2002)
Say You Will

BTW, peoples, any band or music-related item is fine. And as for the shirts, they're shirts you can get at any store that sells that kinda stuff.

Ooooh I love threads like this!

I collect like a maniac!

We all know Blondie and Debbie Harry merch is my first love so I'll just link you to photos rather than try and list.
http://s628.photobucket.com/albums/u...%20Collection/

And to that, I've recently added:
All 3 international fan club magazines
A Chrysalis Copy of the Self Titled debut
Debbie Harry - Strike Me Pink, pink vinyl picture disk
Blondie - Parallel Lines, opaque Dutch Vinyl
A set of 6 Lab print photos
Videodrome VHS
Eat to the Beat Video Album VHS
And a crappy £3 poster that I don't like because of the weird photoshop-ed-ness.

Fleetwood Mac I'm just thin on the ground:

Vinyl:
Kiln House
Bare Trees
Mystery to Me
Fleetwood Mac
Rumours
Tusk
Mirage
Tango in the Night (x2)
Behind the Mask

Bella Donna
The Wild Heart
Rock A Little
The Other Side of the Mirror

Christine Perfect (x2 1976 re-issue)
Christine McVie
Got a Hold on Me Picture Disk

Law and Order

CD:
Timespace
In The Meantime
VBO Fleetwood Mac (2 different ones)

Small Unleashed poster
Giant Christine poster

Stevie Shirts (x2)
Fleetwood Mac Penguin shirt.

mmmmmm I like music memorabillia.

Well go out and do it! To help it along, make 'em a CD version of it (except I threw on the Van Halen song Dreams, 2 Eagles tunes and Won't Get Fooled Again by The Who at the end).

Neither would I be so mean as to steal her vinyl copy of Rumours, or would I bother to give her a CD of it - we still live together, so she "endures" it (no, Unleashed was actually her favourite concert) from time to time, although that may change soon...

So, basically, she doesn't like the Mac anymore?

And my dad considers Unleashed to be his favorite concert too.

Nah, she really likes FM! But I'm confident that, were I to once again behave the way I did for the month after Unleashed in December (i.e. playing nothing but FM) I'd test her patience. But I can't be sure... maybe I'll test the theory...

Test her patience a bit by playing the bass part from The Chain over and over again

Extremely rare white vinyl 45 of The Damned's "New Rose/Help"

Extremely rare Thompson Twins "Hold Me Now" Picture Disc in the shape of their '3 heads logo'.

Extremely rare picture disc in the shape of the Tower of London for The Housemartins' "Happy Hour"

Very rare hot pink vinyl 45 of The Damned's "Disco Man" and some other B side cut I can't remember. ( I have no idea where this is and wish I could find it)

Rare Spandau Ballet full size picture disc for "True"

Many rare limited edition 45 packs by The Jam. The most rare is one with "That's Entertainment" and on the B side "The Dreams of Children"

Rare book-type pack of Killing Joke's "Adorations" with other bonus tracks
